On March 9, 2005, several people gathered in the International Hall to witness Presidents Kawata and Yu sign an academic exchange agreement between Kansai University, Japan and Providence University, Taiwan.

On March 28, 2005, Dr./S. Anne Therese Falkenstein gave a talk introducing Providence University to students at the Hanyoung Foreign Language High School in Korea.
On the same day, S. Anne Therese also participated in a lengthy discussion and gave a power point presentation introducing Providence University at Konkuk University, Korea.
